Kathleen Magner Rios
Kathleen Magner Rios majored in Fine Arts and Photography at Philadelphia University of the Arts. In the previous decade, he says he roamed gardens and woods with a Brownie camera. Later, the transition from analog to digital, which required neither film nor a darkroom, allowed him to continue photographing as his children grew. It was at this time that Kathleen discovered Hipstamatic and Hipstography. In his work with Eric Rozen/Hipstografia, he created several film/lens combinations and had numerous images and portfolios featured. At the same time as he explores mobile photography, he also photographs with a DSLM and experiments with processes such as cyanotype. His work has already been highlighted by several entities: Lens Culture; IPA, The App Whisperer, Hipstamatic, Hipstography and W Magazine. He has exhibited in several locations: The Delaware Contemporary Museum; Oxford Art Alliance; Chris White Gallery; Ace Hotel NYC; and Photo Place Gallery Vermont. Kathleen is represented in private and corporate collections.
