Photographs captured and edited with mobile devices: smartphones (Android and IOS), cell phones and tablets. In the case of images created using AI tools, other devices can be used.
In the case of mobile photographs, no changes to the image using desktops or laptops are allowed. You can only compress file sizes, change image titles, and upload via a desktop or a laptop.
In the case of images built using AI tools, it is possible to use any device, by the inherent nature of this category.
Yes. Any application or combination of applications can be used for final editing.
To apply, you must fill out the application form available on the website: https://miramobileprize.com/submission/
You can compete with a maximum of 3 images.
Files must be titled with first and last name, category and image number. Put between the names, category and number an underscore. Example for “Manuela Monteiro” = ManuelaMonteiro_paisagem_01; ManuelaMonteiro_Minimal_02 etc. Photos with signatures, watermarks or frames are not accepted.
There is no cost to enter the competition.
To cover exhibition expenses (printing, framing, mounting and communication), each finalist who wishes to participate will be asked to pay a fee of 35 euros (38.95 USD).
The winner's prize is:
- Round trip from a European capital to the city of Porto (PT)
- Accommodation for 5 nights and 6 days in MIRA FORUM
- A Trip to the Picos de Europa (Photoadrenaline programme) for the Portuguese author with the best classified photograph
- If the winner is Portuguese, he/she can opt for a stay of 5 nights and 6 days in Companhia das Culturas, in Castro Marim, Algarve
An accredited jury of 5 selects 50 photographs that will constitute the finalists. The winner is selected from this group. All finalist photographs will participate in a collective exhibition at Galeria MIRA FORUM.
Up to 3 photographs per author.
Yes, each participant must fill out a single application form where they must insert the selected images, by 11:59 pm on March 20, 2024.
After submitting the application form, a message should appear thanking you for your participation. This message may take up to 20 seconds to appear.
Each participant will after receive an email confirming the submission. Being a manual process, we ask you to wait for confirmation.
MIRA Mobile Prize respects copyright: in the exhibition, publication and in all means of promotion and dissemination of the contest and the gallery MIRA FORUM.
The 50 selected photographs and the winner will be announced in www.miramobileprize.com May 2024.
No, MIRA Mobile Prize accepts submissions from photographers and artists around the world.
