MIRA MOBILE PRIZE 2024
We have been celebrating mobile photography for almost 10 years with tens of thousands of images sent from all over the world. We welcomed the winners of several editions and visitors from different countries to the city of Porto. And, our registrations have always been free! The 18th edition of the MIRA Mobile Prize B is now taking place&We want to know your perspectives of the streets of different parts of the world!

SHORTLIST B&W STREET PHOTOGRAPHY 2024
EXHIBITION - OPENING
On November 4th, at 4pm, it was the opening of the exhibition of the 16th edition of the MIRA Mobile Prize B&W Street Photography. The winner of this edition is Emir Bozkurt, resident in Istanbul, Turkey. He is an internationally award-winning photographer and his street photography images show us his passion and sensitivity in capturing the vulgar and sublime in everyday life. The best-ranked Portuguese woman is Cristina Osório, who emphasizes the minimalist style of street photography, excluding everything that is not essential to the story she wants to tell in her image.
BOOK/PUBLICATION
The book with selected images from the 16th edition of the MIRA Mobile Prize competition dedicated to Street Photography, in black and white, is now available on the BLURB website. The 50 photographs from the shortlist and the 160 best classified are included.

Prize
a week in Porto
6 days, 5 nights, with accommodation
and with round trip from a European capital to the city of Porto. The best Portuguese classification wins a trip to the Peaks of Europe. If the winner is Portuguese you can opt for a stay of 5 nights and 6 days at Companhia das Culturas, in Castro Marim, Algarve.
Jury
The MIRA Mobile Prize is awarded by a jury made up of four personalities from various
nationalities and of recognized merit in photography in general and mobile photography in particular.
SUKRU MEHMET OMUR
Sukru Mehmet Omur is an ENT surgeon who now works as a full-time mobile photographer and artist. He also writes about photography and wine. Originally from Turkey, he lives in Paris. He graduated from the CE3P imaging school in Paris and, to date, his mobile work has been featured in Paris, Indianapolis, Florence and Istanbul. Mehmet runs several mobile art and photography groups and pages on Facebook; his book dedicated to iPhone photography was published in 2018. He has already won several mobile photography / art awards such as the IPPA, MPA and the MIRA Mobile Prize.

The MIRA Mobile Prize is surprisingly popular. In recent editions, there have been more than 65,000 entries from all over the world. The quality of the jury and the images selected have elevated the initiative to the top international mobile photography awards. Media coverage has been intense.
