Amílcar Correia has been the executive editor of PÚBLICO since October 2016. He has been a journalist since 1990 and was deputy director of the same newspaper. Amílcar Correia was part of several editorial boards and editor of the Society, Local and weekly section Cidades. In 2011 he founded the P3, a site that won several awards. He has a degree in Communication Sciences. In 2007 he published the book “The ballad of Niger — and other stories from Africa”.
