ESTÊVÃO LAFUENTE
Estêvão Lafuente is a doctor and photographer living in Portugal. Urban and street documentary photography underlies much of his work: it is the life that happens on the streets he walks, whether in Portugal or in other parts of the world. Therefore, documenting the trip is a fundamental part of his projects and his stories – the solo exhibition “O meu MAP”, held at MIRA FORUM (2016), is an example of this thematic centrality. He seeks to develop his narrative in black and white light, which he also presents in publications he edited. He has won several awards and exhibits regularly. He has received several awards and honorable mentions in national and international photography competitions.
